Free Eye-opening Environmental Training in Japan & Thailand
( DENSO youth for Earth Action)
OPEN for undergraduate & graduate students
Sustainability has become a major issue for the future of mankind. This project is an international program begun in 2008 by joing effort between DENSO Corp. and Japan Environmental Education Forum, with the aim of fostering young people who have a high level of awareness about mankind’s coexistence with the environment and who will actively tackle efforts to create a sustainable society.
The current program, the project’s third, will be held in 2010 for students from Japan and six ASEAN countries at locations in Thailand and in Japan itself. We hope that these young people will learn through experience, use this knowledge as a step towards their own futures, and will set off on their journeys as "new earthlings" to lead the next generation.
Fees for the pre-training, on-site training and participation in the forum will be covered by the sponsor. Expenses for transportation, meals, and accommodation during the activities are included..

PAC - 10th Toyota Supplier Kaizen Competition Champion |

PAC awarded 2008 TSC Kaizen Champion - Class A Category |
|
 
“The QC Eye 2” from QC Inspection Department of PAC awarded as 2008 TSC Kaizen Champion in the 9th Toyota Supplier’s Club (TSC) Kaizen Competition- Class A Category. The competition was held at the TASC Conference Room, TMP-Sta. Rosa Plant last November 12, 2008. Being a Class A TSC Champion among nine competing teams from different companies, qualifies PAC in the Class A1 Category of TSC Kaizen competition to be held next year. Class A1 category composed of suppliers who won Grand Champion in the Class A category.

PAC received DENSO President Silver Award |
|
PAC received the prestigious DENSO PRESIDENT AWARD - garnering second place (Silver prize) among 173 companies of DENSO Group worldwide, The award was based on sales perfomance, profits, product quality, safety management and company vision.
Mr. Satoshi Sugiura - President of Philippine Auto Components, Inc. together with Masashi Ogasawara, Vice President - TIE & Plant manager went to DENSO Corporation Japan last June 20, 2008 to recieve the award of excellence. They were accompanied by (2) two other employees; Mr. Ricky Sancon and Ms. Amy Buhay.

New PAC Design Center Office |
|
Philippine Auto Components’ Design Center is now in its new office located at The Paragon Corporate Centre, Industry St. Madrigal Business Park, Alabang Muntinlupa City leaving its former office in Sycamore Building.
In addition, last January 14, 2008, a ceremonial blessing happened to mark DC’s transfer officially. Design Center extends warm thanksgiving to all, from top management down to the ranks who have helped us through the materialization of our office transfer.
As of now, Design Center is acquiring highly advance testing facility and design software available in the market that will surely enhance its capability of product verification and development. DC is also looking forward in hiring more engineers that will be in helped in achieving its goals.
